About

Casa De Esperanza, or House Of Hope, is a children's home for 70+ children nestled in the mountainous region of the Bolivian Yungas. It is a home where children who are either orphaned or abandoned by their parents are given a chance to regain their childhood. They are adopted into this family and are provided all of their material needs but above all they are shown hope and God's great love.

I was abandoned by my parents and left screaming and crying for help on the ground in a field when i was two month old. I cry alone for almost a day. Nobody listens to me. I start feeling something in my face. It was many ants on my face. I scream some more. It is all I can do. After all I was just born a couple of days ago. The ants start bitting my face and eating my skin. I scream louder. I am crying. Nobody listens to me. Finally the next day someone listens. They come to my rescue. They take me to Casa De Esperanza. At Casa De Esperanza they give me love. They heal my wounds. They become my family. Because of the love of God my face has recovered and I just have a little scar. I am thankful to have people who will never leave me alone again.

I was born with disabilities. I never met my parents. My grandfather tried to raise me. He was old and not able to take care of me because of my special needs. Plus we were really poor so he had to work a lot. I needed special help because of my disability. Since he had to leave for work he would leave me in a kind of cage. I was alone for hours with very little food. I didn't know how to feed myself. I didn't learn to walk. I didn't learn to talk. I lived in that cage for many years. One day the authorities came and rescued me. They took me to Casa De Esperanza. At Casa De Esparanza I received love and care. I've learned to walk. I've learned to eat by myself. Please pray so that soon I will be ale to talk. I love to smile. I'm so happy here in Casa De Esperanza. So happy that I run for joy. So happy that I am not in a cage. So happy I have space to run and to learn. Now I have people who love me and take care of me.

Projects.

Casa De Esperanza has been taking care of orphaned and rescued children for more than 25 years. Our top priority has always been to give the best care possible to the children and to improve their lives in their new home - our home campus. This means keeping up with the projects and maintenance in the children's homes and throughout the campus in order to give our kids a better life
